We’re excited to invite you to our ongoing Volunteer Project Days, where we come together to make a meaningful impact and tackle a variety of important projects.
To make it easier for everyone to get involved, we’ll be holding project days on a regular monthly schedule:
First Friday of every month 9am-1pm
Third Saturday of every month 9am-1pm
Each project day will focus on completing a range of different projects, so there’s something for everyone—whether you can help for a few hours or the entire day. These hands-on opportunities are a great way to give back, connect with others, and see the difference your time and talents can make.
Please note: We do not have tools available on-site at this time, so volunteers are asked to bring their own tools if they have them. Specific project details and suggested tools will be shared ahead of time.
More details about specific projects, times, and how to sign up will be shared ahead of each date.
Thank you for your continued support and commitment to our mission. We can’t wait to work alongside you! Please feel free to share this with anyone you feel would love to join us.
Our very first Volunteer Project Day will be held this upcoming Friday, May 1st!

Quilts of Valor
Quilts of Valor gifted 19 residents of Servant House with a personalized quilt, pieced and quilted by the Heart of the Triad Quilt Guild. Each quilt was presented to individual veterans and draped around their shoulders by Marty Smith and Cindy Rayburn gave a hug of appreciation for service to country.
Many thanks to Marty Smith, Cindy Rayburn and Bette Brownlow, whose kindness truly touched everyone. Several veterans described it as the first sincere thank-you they received years after returning home from service. Others said the quilts rekindled warm feelings and special memories of childhood that brought tears of joy.
Catherine Roberts started Quilts of Valor in 2003 inspired by a dream during her son's deployment in Iraq. To date, more than 345,000 veterans have received quilts.
