Healing the homeless

Medical Respite is a well-documents evidence-based model defined by the National Healthcare for Homeless Council as:  “acute and post-acute care for persons experiencing homelessness who are too ill or frail to recover from a physical illness or injury while living on the streets but are not ill enough to remain in a hospital.  It is short-term residential care that allows individuals experiencing homelessness the opportunity to rest in a safe environment while accessing medical care and other supportive services.”

We are proud to be able to offer 18 beds dedicated to medical respite patients who will have access to in house care provided by a registered nurse, along with case management, socializing, food, and the other services provided by The Servant Center.
